    Welcome to the Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services' Web site. As one of the largest fire departments in the State of Georgia, our pledge to the community is that we respond to their emergencies efficiently and perform duties in a professional and courteous manner. Cobb Fire provides services to rural, urban, and heavily populated highrise communities covering an area of 305 square miles.

    I am extremely proud of the 683 men and women in our department, all of whom are dedicated to careers of serving the public. Each of us has pledged to take part in making Cobb a safe and friendly community for all.

    Cobb fire personnel are trained to respond skillfully to fire, medical, and disaster emergencies. We provide a highly proficient, comprehensive level of service incorporating the following Divisions: Fire Suppression / Emergency Medical Services, Hazardous Materials (response), Fire Prevention, Training, Public Education, Fire Investigation, Emergency Management, Plan Review, Building Inspections, and Administrative and Support Services.
